Skinning: Free

Breakfast and Lunch: Free with lots of hot coffee.

A $300 deposit is required to hold your spot.

Terms: There will be two deer per hunter and for every three hunters there will be a nice racked buck.

If there are 30 hunters there will be 60 total deer. Ten of those 60 deer will be racked bucks. So if there are 30 hunters there will be 50 does and 10 bucks.

Bucks will range from 110 BC. to 139 BC. Bucks are valued at $2000 and down. YOU could be among the lucky hunters to harvest over $2000 worth of bucks and does for $700. We guarantee you will have a blast while shooting lots of arrows and filling your freezer this winter.

Rules: Any hunter can take one buck and one doe until 12:00 noon, After 12:00 noon hunters can shoot as many does as they can or have arrows left to shoot.

Hunters can only take ONE Buck to make it fair for the other hunters

Each hunter will have 4-5 acres to hunt, After 12:00 noon hunters may spot and stalk, stand hunt or whatever you want to do. This is your hunt.

Bring your own tree climbers or blinds, coolers and lots of arrows.

A Message To Our Valued Customers.

The Wilderness would like to thank the 49 hunters who braved the wet snow and cold temperaures Dec. 19th, 2009 for the Deer Jamboree. It called for 7 to 10 inches of snow but when evening came there was 14 inches of snow and everyone had a blast.

I would like to thank each of the hunters for likely helping us set a record of harvesting over 100 deer in one day with archery equipment. I know of no other ranch in the country that could have lodged, fed, hunted, and skinned over 100 deer in a single day. There were a total of 23 bucks and 79 does harvested.

Many of you ask when next years dates were. So here are the 2010 dates for the deer jamboree. We are having two of them. The first is Dec. 18th, 2010 and the second one is Jan 8th, 2011. As all of our hunts hunters who book first have preference of lodging, our loyal hunters who booked for 2009 will have first choice of either date.

We thank each and every one of you for choosing to hunt at the Wilderness.
